| I would like to call this:
Le Tour d'Azeroth The goal is the Faction A, gets as quickly as possible from Point A to Point B. While Faction B, chases, slows and tries to stop Faction A.
Example: Alliance starts the tour, in other words they are the first ones to get from Point A to Point B. The Alliance will starts in Gadgetzan and eventually have to get at the Gates of Ahn’Qiraj. The Horde has to slow the Alliance as much as possible, so it’ll a lot of time to get to Point B. This time will be noted.
Rules: The Faction who does the Tour (from Point A to B), isn’t allowed to use mounts. Other speed increasing effects are allowed (think of: Speed Potions, Trinkets, Boots, Skills, Talents). Just like Paladin talents, Aspect of the iRun-quick. The Faction who does the tour isn’t allowed to use any Parachutes or Slowfall effects like Noggenfogger Elixir. The Faction who tries to stop the tour is allowed to use mounts and everything which is needed to stop the running Faction.
The time will be stopped when a minimum of 10 – 20 people (still need to adjust the people) arrived at Point B. This time needs to be improved by the other Faction which is doing the tour then.
You are not allowed to run as a ghost and take Ressurrection Sickness near Point B. Rogues/Druids are allowed to walk stealthed, but I’ll doubt that’ll happen, because it’s pretty slow.
A Route shall be drawn on the map, which you have to follow.
Locations: The starting Tour-Faction has to start at Gadgetzan (Tanaris), and will have to end at Gates of Ahn’Qiraj (Silithus). This way you’ll go through Un’goro Crater. Because it’s a crater, you can skip a lot of yards by using Slowfall or Parachute or anything like that. Which we do not allow. When the starting Tour-Faction has arrived at Point B, the roles will be switched. The earlier Attacking-Faction has to do the tour, and the earlier Tour-Faction has to slow the other Faction.
How do you win?: It’s basically all about time. If you’re part of the Tour-Faction, you have to get as quick as possible from Point A to Point B. This time will be noted and compared to the opponents time.
Tell me what you think.

| Well he specified: The Faction who does the tour isn’t allowed to use any Parachutes or Slowfall effects like Noggenfogger Elixir.
And regarding class skills, i think they also get included here.

| To split the groups up a bit, how about making multiple starting points for the runners, and alternate routes? This way we'd avoid having 120+ vs 120+ battles, even if we have 240+ people taking part. | |

Nice idea, how 'bout a South/North starter point, north = gadgetzan, south = Those gates near those ruins. But 120v120 won't occur, yes most likely there will be a bit AOE spam at the path from Tanaris to Un'goro, and Un'goro to Silithus. But there are always people who sneak through. Besides, Horde is outnumbered on these kind of events greatly. So it doesn't matter if we spam AOE on small path, because you'll get through anyway. (As it seems @ Halaa Battle). But on the other way around it will be annoying, for example: 80 Hordes vs 120 Ally, Ally attacks the Tour. Horde gets stuck @ Tanaris > Un'goro = QQ = Leave. That could occur... But if everyone sticks by the rules, this will be fun.
